An experience not to be missed in Venice awaits you! In an exciting four-hour tour through the restaurants that have made Venice the place it is today, you’ll be casting your eyes on beautiful artworks and some truly unmissable places. Strap yourself in for the foodie ride of a lifetime with a local expert guide steering the way!

The journey starts from the charming, crackled streets of Campo San Giacomo a Rialto, a square untouched since the middle ages. It is here, in the trade centre of the city, where all your senses will come alive from the vibrant stalls selling fresh daily produce of fruit, vegetables and meat. The fish market is a lovely alternative and it’s still the oldest operating in Europe!

The best things in life often involve food and that’s no different in Venice. Our guided tour will show you some of its best dishes, plates of succulent olives from the beautiful Lake Garda, cow cheese from the highlands of Asiago, soft and tasty polenta chunks served with marinated seafood ranging from cuttlefish to stockfish and much, much more! All this rich food will be complimented with the famous wines of the area which funnily enough is the largest producer of wine in Italy!

Not only this but you will explore the narrow and pretty alleyways, hidden canal beauties, historical and prestigious bar and shops and you’ll talk to local food makers and find out all their tastes and how it works. Rialto bridge awaits in all it’s stunning glory; Campo San Bartolomeo, Marco Polo’s house and a walk by the amazing Grand Canal will enhance your experience.

The tour is a combination of all things Venice from food to wine to sightseeing. You will enjoy great food in more than 7 different rustic restaurants and you’ll also enjoy the specialities from Pasta, prosecco and Tiramisu which was born in Venice!

This memorable promenade finishes in one of Venice’s most popular and charming squares, Campo San Giovanni e Paolo. Located here is a massive church that housed the funerary celebrations of the city leaders; the Doges. To top the tour off, a pleasant Italian coffee will be on offer and afterwards your guide will be happy to direct you back to your accommodation!

Just spent 3 fabulous days in Rome, during our flying visit had 3 great tours with Rome City Tours: Food tour, Vatican and Colosseum. Initially i thought it was a bit on the expensive side, but by the time we finished, i think it was worth every cent. All 3 guides, Tony, Veronica and Rossella were informative and passionate about their city and saw and learn't things we would never had done with the "standard" trips. our big thanks to the team for making our trip so enjoyable.

We had a terric night with our guide Bruno. At the beginning we were very hungry and we did not expect so much food. The guide kept saying "mangia!" but we barely made it to the last stop: the gelato! Taking the tour at night in the hot summer (was July) was a great choice and the best way to spend our first evening in Rome! thank you guys for such a fun experience.

A group of 4 of us had the pleasure of doing this tour with Francesca and she was fantastic! We did 3 tours with this company and all of them were absolutely great, without exception. We saw the major sites of crypts and catacombs in the city and Francesca was knowledgeable and kept us interested throughout the entire tour. She planned the route so as to avoid the heaviest traffic and lineups. The private tour was more money than the typical group tours you see but it was well worth the extra money as we did some group tours as well and there was no comparison! This company is fantastic and their guides are the absolute best!
